ಜಟ್ಟ-ನನ್ನ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಇದು ಒಂಧು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಧೃಶ್ಯಕಾವ್ಯ. ಒಂಧು ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಕಾದಂಬರಿ ಓದಿದ ಅನುಭವ.

ಲೂಸಿಯ ಸಂವಾದದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಿರಿರಾಜ ಎಂಬ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲವೈಕ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ, ದಿಟ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಿಬ್ಬೆರಾಗಧೆ. ಅವರದೇ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ನವಿಲಾದರೂ ಕಿರು ಚಿತ್ರ ನೋಡಿ ಪುಳಕಿತನಾದೆ. ಜಟ್ಟ ಸಿನೆಮಾ ಗಿರಿರಾಜ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಎರಡನೇ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಅವರಿಗಿರುವ ಸ್ತಿರ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ, ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆ, ಸಂಬಾಷಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯ ಹಿಡಿತ, ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಜ್ಞಾನ, ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಸಮತೋಲನಾ, ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವೇ ಜಟ್ಟ.

ಲೂಸಿಯಾ ಸಂವಾದದಿಂದ ಹೊರ ಬಂಧ ನಾನು ಜಟ್ಟ ನೋಡಲೇಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿರ್ದಾರಿಸಿಧೆ. ಅದರಂತೆ ಗೋಪಾಲನ ಸಿನೆಮಸ್‌ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕುಳಿತ ನನಗೆ ಸಿನೆಮಾದ ಮೊದಲನೇ ಪುಟ ತರಚಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ, ನನ್ನ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಯಿತು. ಶುರುವಿನಲ್ಲೇ  ಗುರುವಿನ ವೆಸ್ಟರ್ನ್ ಕಲ್ಚರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ತನದ ಉಳಿವಿಕೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ವೈಖಿರಿ, ಅಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಅರ್ಥಗರ್ಬಿತ ಸಂಬಾಷಣೆ ನಮನ್ನು ಕಾಡಲು ಶುರುಮಾಡುತ್ತೆ  "ಮೀನ್ ಹಿಡಿಲಿಕ್ಕೋಗಿ, ಮೊಸಳೆ ಹಿಡಿದವರ ಕಥೆ ಗೊತ್ತ ಜಟ್ಟ" "ನಿನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪ ಅಮ್ಮ ಯಾರು ಅಂತ ನಿನಗೋತಿರಬೇಕು, ಆದ್ರೆ ಅಪ್ಪ ಯಾರಾಗ್ತರಂತ ಡಿಸೈಡ್ ಮಾಡೋ ಹಕ್ಕು ಅಮ್ಮಂಗ್ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇರಬೇಕು".  ಇನ್ನು ಕಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರಿಸುವ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ,ವ್ಯವಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಳಕೆಯಾಗುತ್ತೆ ಎ೦ಬುದು ಸಹ ನಿಜವೇ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಪಾರ್ವತಿ-ಪಶುಪತಿಯ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಸ್ವಾರಸ್ಯಕರ ಸ೦ಭಾಷಣೆ, ಜಟ್ಟನ ಕೆಲಸ ಖಾಯ೦ ಮಾಡಲು ಅದರ ಹಿ೦ದೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಜಾತಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಸ೦ಭಾಷಣೆಗಳು.

 Female protagonist ಆಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಸುಕ್ರತ (ಸಾಗರಿಕಾ ಪಾತ್ರ ),   ನಿಷ್ಟಾವಂತ ಫಾರೆಸ್ಟ್ ಗಾರ್ಡ್ ಆಗಿ  ಕಿಶೋರ್ (ಜಟ್ಟ), ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ ಪೋಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಆಗಿ ಪ್ರೆಮ್‌ (ಭೀಮ ಕುಮಾರ) ಪಾತ್ರ ನಿಜ್ಜಕು ಶ್ಲಾಗನೀಯ!!!. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ಸುಕ್ರತ, ಕಿಶೋರ್ ನಾ ಅಭಿನಯ ಅದ್ಭುತ, ಅಮೋಘ, ಪ್ರಭಾವಶಾಲಿ. ಈ ಧೃಶ್ಯಕಾವ್ಯ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ನೋಡಲೇಬೇಕಾದಂತ ಸಿನಿಮಾ. ಗಿರಿರಾಜರ ಈ ಸಾಹಸಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇಂಧು ಚಿರಋಣಿ.

ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ, ನಿಮ್ಮನು ಕಾಡುವದಂಥು ಸಹಜ.. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನೋಡಿ, ಗರ್ವದಿಂಧ ಎಧೆತಟ್ಟಿ ಹೇಳಿ "ಇಧು ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಆಂಡ್ರೇ" ಅಂತ!!!

LUCIA - First ever crowd funded Kannada movie.

This Movie is written and directed by Pawan Kumar of Lifeu Ishtene Fame. The movie trailers and songs are going viral on Youtube. The Movie has also won the prestigious "London Indian Film Festival Award".

You might be wondering about what made me to write a blog about this movie.. Read below..

Yes, i know all my previous blogs were about drawing inspirations, criticizing some incidents or expressing my point of view on social concerns..But for the very first time I am fully inspired by the creation of a movie. A Movie how it is being made, the initial struggles, the dedication and the hard work, the efforts of the people behind the scenes and most importantly the people who came forward to produce the Film, all these attributes to well made Movie LUCIA!!!.

I understand that a quick question would arise " What special about that?  Every movie is made in similar manner. Yes my dear friend, I agree that Movies are all made in same manner. But here are the few highlights of this movie:
1. First ever movie produced by the Audience. I bet you would have never heard about this concept at all.
2. First movie to have a theatrical as well as Online Release.
3. Most of the star cast, Crew members are new comers. Music Director, Singers and asst Directors are all eagerly waiting to taste success.
4, Most importantly each and every one have put in their Heart and Soul in this movie.  It is not that there intention is not to make money, its their Love towards Quality Movie, their commitment to encourage good Kannada movies and artists. Their mission to kill Piracy!!!


Finally its not as easy as passing a comment about the movie whether its good or bad. It takes a great courage and huge responsibility on the shoulders of the director to lead this project. and I am truly amazed by the way Pawan handling this project and getting it ready for the official release. 

Well  with all the above factors, I could not stop myself penning a blog about this movie and I feel that its my honor and duty to promote this movie, try and reach to as many enthusiastic, quality movie lovers as possible!!!

THE Unlucky Charm!!!

I am writing this blog after couple of months... Though I was very keen on writing this, but did not find personal time to put it in words, though thoughts were passing in my mind every now and then...

This post suits the title very much "The Unlucky Charm". I am referring Unlucky charm to all the little innocent beautiful girls in their hearts who had lots of dreams aspirations and plenty of life to lead, but little did not know what LIFE had to offer.

Friends have you ever gave a thought about how girl babies, a teenage girl, a young lady, women have been treated in this country? Never, who even cares, where do we have time for all this. Some or the other news channel may flash news about one or other incident and at the same speed even we will forget the incidents.

Only in Books, or for the sake of speech, we refer our country to Motherland or Bharat Mata, but do we literally mean that??? Do we really respect her??

with a series of incidents happened in the recent past, had left a painful thought in my mind and the same made to pen this blog.


Let me explain you the 5 important stages of Girls Life ...

Stage 1. The moment a women is a pregnant  her husband and in-laws will be waiting to know whether its a boy a girl. They may bribe the doctor or nurse at he hospital to know the fetus. If its a boy, lucky enough, no end to their happiness, and royal treatment to their wife/daughter-in-law. If its a girl, immediate  command to doctor to abort without even taking the pregnant women consent. If the girl is lucky enough, she will pass the stage 1.

Stage 2. Like any other kid, she will also be pampered and attracted by many, but not all them will show real love to her, Some of them are beast/demon to the little girl. They treat her in a pray - predator relationship. Many incidents have reported that 3-4 years girls have been raped by her own Father/Uncle/or by some men. Again if she is lucky enough she passes stage 2.

Stage 3. School going kid, We hear many news that news that she was harassed torchered/made her stripped by the class teacher or by some teenage guys.

A recent incident that took place on August 16th in Bangalore. An 11-year-old girl was allegedly set ablaze by miscreants at Pinaganahalli, Bangalore. Three miscreants poured kerosene on Kavitha and set her on fire, a class V girl, when she was on her way to the school. Kavitha was accompanied by her younger sister, Kavya. The fifth standard girl suffered 95 per cent burns,breathed her last at the Victoria Hospital.

Stage 4: College Student, very crucial stage in a girls life.

This phase of life is a time for all the experiments, bunking classes, hitting pubs, weekend parties, get to gether everything will be good, when we know who to trust and stay within our limitations. But the strange fact is some guys would be waiting for this opportunity to fulfill their desires and poor girl will be easily targeted.

A classic example of this. A man has been arrested for gang raping a college student along with three more persons after taking the victim to Alwar in Rajasthan, The victim is a BA second year student and a resident of Gurgaon. She was taken to Alwar on August 3 and gang raped for several days, police said. “Main accused Rahul, was arrested. He abducted her on the pretext of offering her a lift on August 3 after her college and took her to Alwar, where other miscreants joined him in the act.

Stage 5. A complete Women/House Wife/Working Women. Need less to say about similar stories. there are rapes cases reported from all parts of the country.

In terms of shocking numbers, 14 rape cases reported in one Month (October 2012 report) in Haryana Alone. The more worst part is the statement given by the chief minister "that women must be married off early (by the time they are 16 to be exact) to prevent rape." Action take, some of them are arrested, some absconding. The arrested will be released on bail and the news will be buried. The Target continues...

Don't be surprised, if you switch on the TV and another rape issue has been reported..


Now lets move onto our neighboring country and share you a very interesting, inspiring story for all the mankind,

Malala Yousafzai, 14 year old was shot on the head and neck for promoting girl education in Pakistan.

Their story began in 2009, when Fazlullah (Taliban member), took over Swat Valley in pakistan, and ordered the closure of girls’ schools, including Yousufzai’s. Outraged, the then-11-year-old kept a blog for the BBC under a pen name and later launched a campaign for girls’ education. It won her Pakistan’s highest civilian honor and death threats from the Taliban.

The Brave girl was not blind to the dangers.She started promoting girl education in the province and decided to spread across the country. Malala Yousufzai continued speaking out despite the danger. As her fame grew, Fazlullah tried everything he could to silence her. The Taliban published death threats in the newspapers and slipped them under her door. But she ignored them. “She would frequently say ’I am satisfied. I am doing good work for my people so nobody can do anything to me’.”

But on 9th Oct 2012, The two Taliban men stopped the bus she was riding home in. They asked for Yousufzai by name. Although the frightened girls said she wasn’t there, the men fired at her and also hit two other girls in the van. One of them remains in critical condition.

Later Malala was shifted to Army Hospital, were the doctors have removed the bullet, but she is still unconscious  battling for her Life..

Awards and Recognition's,

2011, International Children's Peace Prize. The Dutch international children's advocacy group KidsRights Foundation included Yousafzai as one of five nominees worldwide for the prize, the first Pakistani girl ever nominated for the award. She was the runner-up.


19 December 2011,Pakistan’s National Peace Prize. Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani awarded Yousafzai with Pakistan's first National Peace Prize for those under 18 years old — subsequently renamed the National Malala Peace Prize.[6] Speaking to the media after attending the proceedings, Yousafzai expressed her wish to form her own political party comprising people working for the cause of education, saying “my party will operate in all four provinces.” On Yousafzai’s request, the prime minister directed the authorities to set up an IT campus in the Swat Degree College for Women.

3 January 2012. The Government Girls Secondary School, Mission Road, was renamed Malala Yousufzai Government Girls Secondary School in her honour.

Lets pray for the speedy recovery of this brave girl..


In between all these struggles, women prove that they are equal to men in all the fields and master the art in their respective fields.

Imagine if all those innocent girls would not have killed, we would have seen them as Kiran bedi, Sudha Narayan Murthy. kalpana Chaula, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw or saina nehwal.


I wrote this blog not to disturb you, but to provoke some positive thoughts against these barbaric acts.

Hoping to see more such Malala's in every region of our country who standup for the women empowerment for the rights of girls.

Every year we see many youngsters graduate from school and colleges in this country but majority of them aim for Higher studies and flew out of subcontinent. Bitter truth is most of the students enrolled for higher studies doesn't like to come back. Yet we expect and believe that today's youth are tomorrows leaders. 


A Nation which was once upon a time known for its rich cultural heritage is loosing its charm day by day and has deep rooted its branches into corruption,cheap politics and terrorist attacks.


The recent few instances made me write this blog. I am not sure, if its going to help the society or not, but hoping that this blog would arise a thought in the readers


Shameful Act by Ministers in the Assembly


Two BJP ministers in Karnataka - Lakshman Savdi and C C Patil - were allegedly caught watching porn film clips on the former's mobile phone on the floor the state legislative assembly on Tuesday. While Savdi holds the cooperatives' portfolio, Patil is the minister for women and child development.

Close-up shots of the ministers watching blue films were beamed on television channels in the evening and sparked a furore. The television visuals showed both the ministers sitting next to each other, gazing into Savdi's handset and bantering on. This is for the first time that the Karnataka assembly is rocked by such a scandal.

Action Taken: Speaker of the Assembly said " I will look into it, Law will take its own course."


Result: Ban on Private channels inside the Assembly. The two ministers are resigned from their post, but still holds a MLA Post.


The shameless Minister Lakshman Savdi says he would show this video clip to his villagers and wants them to decide whether he had comitted any mistake.


Our very infamous former Chief Minister stated this famous quote " Who doesn't watch porn, every one does watch porn" at a press conference in shimoga.


My dear former Chief Minister, any one may or may not watch porn, but not at a respectable place like Vidhna Soudha. I know you guys don't have any value, but the place Vidhan Soudha has its only value.


Is there any shameful act worse than this where the minister justifys seeing the porn clip???




School Teacher Murderd by a Teenager


Here is a strange incident that took place in Chennai recently. Hindi Teacher Uma Maheswari was brutually murdered by her 15 year old student


Uma Maheswari had been teaching Hindi to class 9 and 10 students at the St. Mary's Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School on Armenian Street in Parry's Corner. 

On Thursday at around 11.45 a.m. when Uma was taking Hindi class a student named mohammed , who had brought a knife concealed in a paper, slashed the teacher's throat and stabbed her in the abdomen and chest killing her on the spot. 

 Another teacher of the same class said "When I reached the spot Uma was lying on the floor in the blood pool and the boy was standing nearyby with the knife in his hand. I couldn't believe it happened." 

During questioning by police, the boy claimed that he was upset that she had made adverse remarks against him and complained to his parents.Further said that he had recently seen the Hindi movie Agneepath and was influenced by the hero who takes revenge on those who falsely implicate his father.

This incident triggers that Televisions/Movies/Yotube creates a negetive impact on young and impressionable minds.Teachers alone cannot take all the responsibilities for students' behaviour and parents also have to share the responsibility equally."


Case of Human Trafficking


Two year old Baby Falak was admitted to AIIMS hospital by a 15 year old minor girl on January 18 with severe head injuries, broken arms, bite marks all over her body and cheeks branded with hot iron. 
On February 14, Munni, a 22 year old minor woman claimed to be her mother, visited her for the first time at the AIIMS Trauma Centre. Doctors had conducted a fourth life saving surgery on Falak on Tuesday as an alternative attempt to contain the brain infection.


Baby Falak's medical condition: She has had two cardiac arrests, but the latest medical bulletin from AIIMS says that baby Falak is fighting hard. Despite her severe injuries, doctors say she has improved today; they report some voluntary movement and she is said to be off ventilator support for now. Doctors had earlier today given her a 30-40 per cent chance of survival. They say there is likely brain damage; her head injuries could be a result of being dashed against a wall, they say. 


The minor girl who brought Falak to hospital has reportedly told members of the Child Welfare Committee that she has been sexually abused by a man she eloped with last year. Doctors say her abuse may have traumatized the teen into battering the baby she was looking after.


Action Taken on the culprit: Raj Kumar, 32, a taxi driver had left two-year-old Falak, who is battling for life since January 18, with his minor girlfriend before heading to Mumbai for the treatment of his physically-challenged son.

Raj Kumar told police that he had left Mumbai on January 29 after the media highlighted Falak’s plight.




Raj Kumar further says that he had offered to keep Falak from his friend Manoj and his wife Pratima on October 13, 2011, after taking the consent of his wife Tabbasum in Delhi and his in-laws in Mumbai. 


Manoj and Pratima along with Laxmi, a resident of Uttam Nagar, had convinced Falak’s mother Munni to leave the kid with them.


Doctor Report says that falak showed some signs of improvement the infection in her brain has started subsiding. Finally the infection in her brain is receding. If similar results come forth in the next couple of days then we can plan to conduct the shunt surgery on her."

Disgusting act by Youngsters.


Two teenage girls were repeatedly raped by 15 men in Indore.


A teenage girl who was forced to visit her cousin near the farm land was surrounded by 10 yougsters and raped her one after another. Poor girl she had requested her friend to come with her,even this girl was raped by these yougsters.


Even more disgusting was when these girls started screaming, the local people (around 5 men) who was working in a close by farm, rather than rescuing them, even they started to rape these innocent girls.


Horrfying act by these uncultured youngsters!!!


How do we put an end to all these things??? Don't say me that we need to wait until December 21st 2012 for the world to end.. 


*The political system has to change, unlike for Govt and Pvt Organizations we have retirement age of 58-60 yrs. Similarly for politics there should be retirement age. 


*Education system has to change. Sex awareness should be created among yougsters from High school.


*Cinemas projecting too much of vilonce, should be banned.


* Strict Law should be in place, non bailable warrent should be issued immediately with a life time term in all the above mentioned cases.


Only then we can expect som fresh water and air to survive in this rapidly growing (populated and polluted) country. 

PARENTHOOD-Rebirth of Happiness!!!

My first post in this New year 2012.


Let me first thank my Best Pal Nuthan, He is th sole inspiration for me to start blogging... and today my blog has turned one  year. Thanks Nuthan for your support and encourgement..




Parenthood, is an Awesome experience, its an art, its a fulfilment, its a special journey of Life!!!




Since Abhiram's birth, we are enjoying his every moment, his cute smile, sparkling eyes, those tiny sweet little fingers, new experssions, ah what a priceless moment it is...

My wife takes care of Abhiram so well, that sometimes it surprises me. I can see a complete transformation in her from being a  Girl friend, wife and now being a mother. She dedicates her full time in taking care of the kid. Initially I was worried about how she can manage with him. Well, full marks to her, she gives full importance to him, she gets up even in the middle of the night without any hesitance as soon as she hears his voice. She has learnt about his activities and takes care of him accordingly. 

Now let me share my personal experience about the warmth happiness I get from my Kid..I still recall those special moments, first time when I took my son into my arms... WOW it was an awesome experience.. You will forget everything around you. Even if someone offers you crores of Rupees, its nothing in front of those cute expressions and smiles...

With the busy hectic work on the weekdays, I will be looking forward for weekends to spend some quality time with my wife and Son. When I go to meet him, I would be completely lost in his cute smile.. You will be free from all the worries, tensions and stress.. His smile alone gives me priceless happiness...,his actions, expressions are real treat to watch!!! I feel like not coming back to home or report to work next day :( but can't help I have to, afterall working for him to give a bright future..

This Stage, everyone has to pass through in their journey of Life, every one has to experience those special moments in thier lives, only then their life is complete!!!
